We believe that this work titled 'Ripe Melons' is by Mary Florence Thomas, a painter and printmaker active in the 1960s and 1970s. She exhibited with the New English Art Club.

It is a colour linocut on thin paper measuring about 11 x 15.3 inches image size, and is pencil signed, dated 1964/65, and is numbered 1 of 12 prints only. The print appears to be in very good condition, save for some minor creasing outside the image, but has not been examined out of the frame. The modern gold coloured frame is in good order save for one or two minor indentations to the moulding...
