A fantastic early production "Elisabeth" chair by Ib Kofod Larsen for Christensen & Larsen. A design classic, the Elisabeth chair was designed in 1956 and exhibited at the Copenhagen Cabinet Makers' Guild Exibition in the same year. The luxurious, distinctive shape of the seat and sculpted, embracing arms make it a timeless piece of design history as well as a striking adornment to any living room.

In original black leather showing patina consistent with age, this chair wears its vintage beautifully. With all webbing intact and the teak frame absolutely sound, it will withstand normal use for many years to come.
