Description: Audrey Wallis (1919-1997) was a painter, sculptor and teacher. She studied at Leicester College of Art and then at the Royal College of Art in London where she gained a silver medal. She became a teacher at Sheffield College of Art and married the Sheffield born painter and teacher William S Taylor (born 1920).

The present work is an original oil painting on board which measures about 9.2 x 12 inches image size. The painting is in good original condition save for some scuffs to the board around the edges, and may benefit from varnishing. Although not signed or dated we think it probable that this work is from the 1950s...
