Description: Andrew S Dewar (born 1944) is a painter, printmaker and teacher, born in Dundee. He studied art at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen 1962-66, and has exhibited with the Royal Scottish Academy, Scottish Print Open, and with the long established Aberdeen Artists Society, of which influential group he has been President. His work is held in several public collections in Scotland.

This striking print measures about 25.5 x 17.5 inches image size, and about 28.5 x 20 inches sheet size. It is unframed. The print is in very good condition, save for some minor creasing to the margins and some tape reside to the reverse of the paper.

The work is signed in pencil by the artist lower right 'Andy Dewar', titled, and numbered 15 of 29 prints only. Whitehills is a village situated to the west of Banff, on the north coast of Aberdeenshire. Another example of the print was exhibited in 1979 at the Royal Scottish Academy, #457...
