A handmade 1960s Don Shoemaker rosewood chair. 


Produced in Mexico in limited numbers and of a very high value due to the vast amounts of rosewood needed to produce these amazing chairs. These chairs are probably one of the most organic chair made in the mid-century era. Only Vladimar Kagan comes anywhere near this amazing craftsman. The seating area moves backwards and forwards to give a subtle rocking movement!

The chair is in fantastic condition, minimal wear.
