Printmaker and painter, Ann Brunskill RE (born 1942, USA) studied at the Central School of Arts and Crafts and Chelsea College of Art 1962. She has exhibited at the Royal Academy, Royal Society of Painter Etchers (of which society she is a full member) etc, and has had a number of solo shows. Museums, public galleries and universities in Britain, Australia and the United States hold her work, which is often about people and their relationships. She lives in Kent.

The present colour deep etching is pencil signed, titled 'Susannah and the Elders' (after the Biblical story of lust and blackmail) and numbered 16 from a small edition of 30 prints. It has full margins and measures image size about 23.8 x 12 inches on a full sheet, laid to a board, measuring 30 x 18 inches, and it dates to circa 1964 as another example of this etching was exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1964 #826. The etching is in very good condition save for minor losses and a stain at the edges, well away from the image. It is unframed...
