A wonderful set of four Hans Wegner W2 Chairs produced in solid Oak, designed in 1953.

Each chair is produced by C.M. Madsen of Denmark and is branded with the makers mark.

We had eight of these chairs but could not resist keeping four for ourselves, they are absolutely beautiful. Unmistakable Wegner styling with elements of other classic Wegner chair designs present. The sculpted backrest is a study in woodcraft technique.

Each chair has just been reupholstered in a slate blue/grey wool of the highest quality.

Rarely seen for sale and no longer in production.
