This is the large version of Per Lutkens Orchid Vase from his "Abstraction Series" produced from 1956-1959. It measures 9 1/4" tall and outside of moderate wear to the underside of the bases rim is free of damage. This orchid vase is rarer than Timo Sarpeneva's version and with the tear shaped green and clear cased glass was probably more labor intensive to blow. A lovely organic piece by a great glass artist.
